79&Park

Anyone looking at 79&Park will be impressed by its size and architecture. The huge project was completed in 2018, and the classic cedar façade from Frøslev Træ, combined with the well-thought-out architecture, has resulted in a beautiful building in harmony with its surroundings.

Focus was constantly on all flats having plenty of light and a nice view over the park and the harbour. Despite the size of the building, it has become a natural addition to the area in Stockholm, and the architectural achievement has also resulted in the project being nominated for and having won several major awards.

The project won double awards in the A + Awards 2019, the world’s largest architectural competition. Both the jury's and the audience's award in the category "Residential - Multi Unit housing - Mid rise (5-15 Floors)" was awarded to 79&Park.

The architect was the firm BIG that designed the grandiose building in Stockholm. Making such a comprehensive project and still managing to not turn it into an invasion of the cityscape is an impressive achievement that deserves awards and nominations.
